WHAT IS ECO?
ECO stands for English Cultural Orientation. The purpose of this 6-week course is to equip people with the English language and knowledge of different cultures so that they can communicate effectively in the most widely spoken language of today’s world. Along with English, trainees will learn and celebrate several different cultures and be given many opportunities to learn more about God.
WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS
JOURNAL
The journal is the way you will have to record your thoughts and new experiences during your Cultural Orientation School online. It will need to be type and tuned in on Monday of each week. Our advice is for the student to avoid google translate. The journal will be a way that our teachers will evaluate your progress. If you use google translate the teacher will not be able to help you improve.
FIRST PART
Write about how was the week for you and what have you learned that you will be able to apply in your personal journey? What was good? What was challenging? Here you have the freedom to write whatever is on your heart. It can be a written paragraph, , a poem, a song or any other creative ways you would like to express yourself written.
SECOND PART
Write about the devotional of the week and what you learned
THIRD PART
Write new words, sentences and concepts you learned throughout the week.
You will be expected to hand your assignments in every Monday. They will be marked by a member of the staff and returned to you on Wednesday ready for you to start a new week of journaling.
